The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Digital Solutions Architect! This job contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by serving as the technical liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, User Experience (UX), and Software Engineering teams to architect scalable, user-centric digital solutions. The Digital Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical solution designs that align front-end experiences with enterprise application architecture, backend systems, APIs, and integration capabilities. 

  1. Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and UX designers to understand business objectives, user needs, and operational workflows.
  2. Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical solution designs that align user experience with enterprise application capabilities.
  3. Design end-to-end digital solutions by considering front-end experience, API integrations, backend processing, data flows, security requirements, and system constraints.
  4. Serve as the technical bridge between business teams and software engineering by producing solution architecture, technical specifications, process flows, and implementation guidance.
  5. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure user interfaces are technically feasible while maintaining exceptional usability and accessibility.
  6. Define application workflows, screen interactions, integration points, and business process automation opportunities.
  7. Design API interaction patterns and integration strategies between internal enterprise applications and external customer-facing platforms.
  8. Evaluate existing application capabilities and identify opportunities to improve user experience, operational efficiency, and system scalability.
  9. Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure solution designs align with organizational technology standards and long-term architecture strategy.
  10. Participate in backlog refinement by assisting Product Owners in decomposing business initiatives into well-defined technical features and user stories.
  11. Collaborate with development teams throughout implementation to clarify requirements, answer technical questions, and validate architectural alignment.
  12. Participate in solution testing, user acceptance planning, and production readiness activities to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  13. Stay informed on emerging technologies, digital experience trends, AI capabilities, and architectural best practices that improve business outcomes.

The Attributes We Seek

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related discipline.
2. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, Business Systems Analysis, Product Engineering, or Software Development.
3. Experience utilizing Majesco Core System APIs to support system integrations and digital solutions.
4. Experience designing enterprise software solutions that integrate front-end applications with backend platforms.
5. Experience working with Product Owners, UX/UI teams, business stakeholders, and software engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
6. Experience documenting solution architecture, business workflows, technical specifications, and functional requirements.
7. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, API integrations, and modern web application architectures.
8. Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile planning platforms as well as, Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application architecture is preferred.
10. Experience within Property & Casualty Insurance, Policy Administration Systems, or Majesco platforms is preferred.
